The Xpanstor 12R helps you expand your storage space while enhancing data management flexibility and efficiency. NAS devices serve as a centralized storage solution that offers convenient file sharing, remote access, and backup all in one. When attached to an ASUSTOR NAS, the Xpanstor 12R provides more drive bays for easy capacity expansion, making it especially suitable for enterprise environments that require extensive data storage and management.
Easily Configure Using Storage Manager
The Xpanstor 12R appears in ADM natively and drives appear within Storage Manager, which makes managing and configuring the attached expansion unit easy. Use Storage Manager to set up RAID configurations as well as utilize snapshot features to further enhance data security and reliability.
Dual Redundant Power Supplies and Hot-Swappable Fan Design
The Xpanstor 12R is equipped with two 650W redundant power supplies and three hot-swappable fans, which increases overall operational efficiency and fault tolerance. Both power supplies can automatically switch to the other in the event one fails, ensuring continuous operation and data security. The hot-swappable fan design allows for fan replacement without downtime, effectively reducing maintenance and upgrade costs.
