Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice lists the cookies and similar technologies getuniqcli.com and the Uniqcli-operated storefronts actually use, what each one is for, and how to control them. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of visitors, and there are no advertising or social-media tracking cookies on the Sites today. Our Sites and services are directed to customers in the United States.
1. What these technologies do
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Session cookies last until you close the browser; persistent cookies remain for a set period. First-party items are set by getuniqcli.com for our own use; third-party items are set by one of our service providers through their code on our pages. localStorage items live in your browser only and are never sent as cookies.
2. Categories and how we treat them
- Strictly necessary — required for the Sites, sign-in, cart, and forms to function. Always active; they cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
- Functional — remember preferences such as catalog display density and gated-content unlocks.
- Analytics and performance — aggregate measurement of how buyers use the Sites. Gated on your browser's GPC and Do Not Track signals (see Section 5).
- Advertising and targeting — none are in use on the Sites today.
3. The technologies we use
This is the current, real set. First party means set by getuniqcli.com; third party means set by a named provider.
Essential — required for the site and forms to function
- Portal session and sign-in cookies (__Secure-authjs.session-token, plus short-lived cookies for sign-in state, code verifier, and nonce) — httpOnly, first party. Keep you signed in to the portal after Microsoft Entra External ID sign-in; the sign-in cookies protect the sign-in handshake itself.
- uq.cart.v1 — localStorage, first party. Your guest cart: the items you have added before signing in.
- uq:guide-unlocked:<guide> — localStorage, first party. Remembers that you already unlocked a gated buyer guide so you are not asked to fill the form again.
- uq:docs-unlocked — localStorage, first party. Remembers that you already unlocked gated product datasheets.
- uq-catalog-density — localStorage, first party. Your catalog display-density preference.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — cookie or browser storage, set by Cloudflare (third party). The human-verification check on public forms (quote, contact, gated guides, checkout); blocks automated abuse.
- Stripe.js (for example __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) — cookies, set by Stripe (third party). Loads on checkout and payment pages; used by Stripe for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- PayPal SDK — cookies, set by PayPal (third party). Loads when the PayPal or Venmo payment option is shown; used by PayPal for payment processing and fraud prevention.
Analytics (optional) — disabled under GPC and Do Not Track
These load only when your browser does not send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
- uq_purchase_sent_<order> — localStorage, first party. Prevents an order's purchase confirmation from being counted twice in analytics.
- _ga and _ga_* — cookies, set by Google Analytics 4 (third party). Site usage measurement: pages visited and traffic sources.
- ph_* — cookie or localStorage, set by PostHog, US cloud (third party). Product analytics: how buyers move through the site.
Future tools
If we introduce additional analytics, advertising, or session-replay tools, we will update this Notice and the controls below first, such tools will load only consistent with the controls stated here, and any session replay will exclude checkout, account, and secure pages.
4. Session replay
We do not use session-replay or similar experience tools today. If we introduce them, we will update this Notice first and exclude checkout, account, and other secure pages from any recording.
5. Your choices
You have three ways to control analytics on this site — the Cookie Settings toggle on this page, your browser's privacy signal, and your browser's cookie settings — and they genuinely work here:
Cookie Settings toggle (on this page). Use the Cookie Settings control on this page to opt out of analytics. Your choice is saved in this browser and the analytics loader honors it right away: Google Analytics and PostHog do not load, no analytics cookies are set, and no analytics data is collected while you are opted out. A confirmation is shown when your choice is saved, the page also shows whether your browser is already sending a GPC or Do Not Track signal, and you can turn analytics back on the same way. This is a single analytics on/off control, not a per-cookie consent manager, and it does not affect the strictly necessary items the site needs to function.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT). If your browser sends the GPC signal or has Do Not Track enabled, our analytics scripts (Google Analytics and PostHog) do not load at all — no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected for that visit. This is enforced in the site's code: the analytics loader checks for either signal before loading anything.
Browser controls. You can also block or delete cookies and site data through your browser's settings. Blocking essential items may break sign-in, the cart, or checkout; deleting site data clears your guest cart and guide unlocks.
Provider opt-outs. Stripe, PayPal, Cloudflare, Google, and PostHog each publish their own cookie and privacy documentation and opt-out options.
6. GPC and U.S. opt-outs
We honor the Global Privacy Control as a universal opt-out signal, and we also honor Do Not Track. Because we do not sell or share personal information and run no advertising technologies today, honoring these signals — under which our analytics never load — fully satisfies their opt-out effect.
7. If consent-required tools are introduced
We offer the single analytics opt-out toggle on this page and honor GPC and Do Not Track, but we do not operate a full consent-management platform with per-category, per-cookie controls today, because the tools in use load only consistent with those controls. If we introduce tools that require prior opt-in consent, a consent interface will be deployed first.
8. Cross-domain storefronts
First-party identifiers may be scoped across Uniqcli subdomains according to your settings. We do not use a manufacturer-branded storefront to conceal the operator; the operator of each storefront is disclosed.
