Secure infrastructure, sourced quietly
Intelligence-community requirements come with a compliance burden most vendors aren't built to carry: FIPS-validated cryptography, hardened baselines, closed-network delivery and a supply chain that has to be documented, not just trusted. Uniqcli sources and integrates secure compute, storage, networking and physical-security systems against those requirements, and we keep program details need-to-know for the life of the engagement.
Hardened by default, documented by design
We treat FIPS 140-2/3 validation and hardened configuration as the starting point, not an option to add later. Systems are built to a defined baseline, imaged and tested before delivery, and shipped with the documentation your accreditation package requires.
Because sensitive programs can't always name themselves in a purchase order, we work through cleared points of contact and limit what appears in shareable procurement records to what the program requires.
- FIPS 140-2/3 validated modules and hardened baseline configurations
- Secure compute, storage and air-gapped networking
- Physical security and access-control systems for SCIFs and secure facilities
- Documented, auditable supply chain with country-of-origin verification

Purpose-built for classified and sensitive environments
- FIPS 140-2/3 and NIAP-evaluated hardware where required
- Air-gapped and cross-domain-ready networking
- SCIF and secure-facility access control and intrusion detection
- NDAA §889 covered-equipment screening on every line
- Chain-of-custody documentation for accreditation packages
- Coordination through your cleared points of contact, with need-to-know program discretion
The requirement isn't just secure hardware — it's a supply chain we can put in front of an accreditation board without a footnote.

Sector posture
What travels with the quote.
The posture is the same in every sector — assembled while the quote is built, not reconstructed once an order is placed. What was sourced, where it came from, who touched it and when it shipped.
- TAA-compliant sourcing under FAR 52.225-5, verified by country of origin
- NDAA §889 covered-equipment screening on every line item
- Chain-of-custody and asset-tag documentation on delivery
- US-based integration, staging and white-glove logistics through our distribution and partner network
- Documentation formatted for accreditation & ATO review
Frequently asked
Can you deliver to a secure facility without exposing program details?
Yes. We work through cleared points of contact and structure purchase records to reflect only what's necessary for procurement, not program specifics.
Do you supply FIPS-validated or NIAP-evaluated hardware?
Yes. We source to a specified validation level and document the certificate for each unit as part of delivery.
How do you handle chain-of-custody for accreditation?
Every system is asset-tagged and tracked from receipt through integration to delivery, with documentation formatted for your accreditation or ATO package.
What is the difference between FIPS 140-2 and FIPS 140-3?
FIPS 140-3 is the current standard for cryptographic-module validation — it aligns with ISO/IEC 19790, and NIST's CMVP stopped accepting new FIPS 140-2 submissions in 2021. Plenty of fielded hardware still carries an active 140-2 certificate, so requirements documents name one level or the other deliberately. Specify the level your program requires and Uniqcli sources to it, recording the CMVP certificate number for each module as part of the delivery documentation.
What does a NIAP listing tell us when we're evaluating hardware?
A NIAP listing means the product completed a Common Criteria evaluation against an approved protection profile under the U.S. scheme and appears on the Product Compliant List. It matters because CNSSP 11 directs national security systems toward evaluated products for IA and IA-enabled functions. When a requirement calls for it, Uniqcli sources against the current listing — evaluations expire — and includes the listing reference in the quote so review boards can verify it directly.
Can you supply hardware for a CSfC solution?
Commercial Solutions for Classified is NSA's program for protecting classified data with layered commercial encryption. Solutions are built from products on the CSfC Components List and registered by the implementing organization — the architecture and registration belong to your integrator or program, not the hardware supplier. Uniqcli's role is sourcing: we supply listed components at the specified versions with the documentation your solution package needs, and flag when a list entry has changed.
What peripherals are typically allowed in secure work areas?
Your accrediting official sets the rules, but the common pattern is consistent: wired-only peripherals, endpoint variants with no camera, microphone or wireless radio, and sharing between networks handled only by secure KVMs evaluated under the NIAP peripheral-sharing-device protection profile. Uniqcli sources those specific variants — which rarely appear in general catalogs — and confirms the exact configuration, down to radio hardware removal versus disablement, before anything ships.
NIST 800-171 Checklist for Hardware Buyers
Most NIST 800-171 gap assessments come back with findings that trace to a switch, a server, or an endpoint — not a policy document. Here is what to check before the assessor does.
