One project, three bills of materials, and only one of them gets estimated properly
A VDI program is usually costed from the license: so many users, so much per user, done. Then the host layer turns out to need twice the memory anyone budgeted because the density assumption came from a vendor sizing guide rather than the actual workload, and the endpoint layer turns out to be a thousand devices that have to be imaged, enrolled and delivered to named desks. Uniqcli quotes the three together — the broker and access licensing, the host compute and storage that carries the density you actually measured, and the endpoints, staged so a rollout day is an installation and not a build session.
The number that decides the whole quote
Concurrent users per host is the only input that matters, and it is workload-specific rather than headcount-specific. A knowledge-worker profile and a GIS or CAD profile can differ by a factor of five on the same hardware, and a single graphics-heavy department will set the memory and GPU line for the entire cluster if it shares hosts with everyone else.
From that number, three things follow directly: memory per host, which is almost always the binding constraint before cores are; the storage tier, because boot storms and profile writes behave nothing like steady-state reads; and the network interface count, because a consolidated host concentrates traffic that used to be spread across a floor of desktops.
We quote against the number you give us and state the assumption on the document. If you do not have one yet, say so — a quote built on a stated assumption you can argue with is more useful than one built on a silent guess.

Verified priced lines only. Licensing and subscriptions are quoted and sourced through authorized US distribution rather than held on a shelf, so stock language does not apply to them. Naming a manufacturer describes the market, not a Uniqcli partnership or endorsement.
Broker and access licensing
Citrix is by a wide margin the deepest access and delivery licensing line we carry — delivery and access licensing plus the associated support and services SKUs. Quoted per named or concurrent user against your existing program and renewal date.
Omnissa Horizon licensing
Omnissa carries the Horizon estate post-spinoff, including the universal subscription SKUs. If your standard is still written as the old vendor name, this is the line it now resolves to — we quote it under the name distribution actually holds.
Host compute and memory
Lenovo server platforms with the memory populated to the density you measured, not to a base configuration. Memory is where VDI hosts are made or ruined, so it is quoted as a per-host line rather than folded into a platform price.
Cluster storage and nodes
Nutanix storage nodes and SSDs, and Red Hat subscriptions where the platform layer is open-source. Sized for profile writes and boot behavior rather than for a steady-state capacity figure.
The endpoint layer is where a VDI program is actually visible
Users do not experience the broker or the host. They experience the device on the desk, the monitor it drives and whether it was working when they sat down. That is the part of a VDI rollout most likely to be under-planned, because it looks like the cheap part.
We image endpoints to your build, apply the broker connection settings, enroll them, asset-tag them and crate them per floor or per room so that deployment day is a delivery rather than a build. Where a department needs two monitors and a dock rather than a bare device, that is quoted as the kit it really is.

Do you design the VDI environment?
We quote against a design. Where you have a density number, a broker choice and a user profile, we size the host, storage and endpoint layers to them and state every assumption on the quote. The architecture, the broker configuration and the operation of the environment stay with your team or your integrator.
Our desktop standard is written around Horizon. What do we buy now?
Horizon is carried by Omnissa post-spinoff, and that is the name authorized US distribution now holds it under. We quote the Omnissa SKUs, including the universal subscription options, and map them against the older product name written into your standard so the paperwork reconciles.
Can you quote host hardware without the licensing?
Yes, and it is common — many agencies hold their broker licensing under an existing agreement and only need the hosts, memory and storage. We will quote any one of the three layers on its own.
How do the endpoints arrive?
Imaged to your build, with broker connection settings applied, enrolled, asset-tagged and crated to your site plan. If you want them delivered bare instead, we do that too — but the staged option is what keeps rollout day short.
