The distribution is a subscription; the cluster is a purchase order
Container platforms get adopted as a software decision and then land in procurement as two unrelated documents: a subscription counted per node or per core, and a rack of hardware nobody costed because the original business case said the point was to use commodity servers. Commodity still has a price. Worker nodes need memory density and fast local storage, container registries and persistent volumes need a storage tier that behaves under many small writes, and east-west traffic between pods puts real load on leaf switching. We quote the subscription and the cluster underneath it on one document, and we rack and burn in the hardware before handover.
Subscription and substrate
We name vendors rather than product SKUs here: Red Hat and SUSE are verified at the brand level on this catalog, and the specific distribution SKUs are quoted per your program. Licensing and subscriptions are quoted and sourced through authorized US distribution rather than held on a shelf, so stock language does not apply to them. Naming a manufacturer describes the market, not a Uniqcli partnership or endorsement.
Enterprise platform subscriptions
Red Hat and SUSE subscriptions quoted through authorized US distribution, per the counting unit your program uses, with support tier stated on the line and renewal dates aligned to what you already hold.
Worker nodes and memory
Lenovo server platforms with Micron memory populated to the density the workload needs. Container hosts are memory-bound long before they are core-bound, so memory is quoted per host rather than assumed from a base configuration.
Fast storage and fabric
NVMe storage for registries and persistent volumes, plus the transceivers and leaf switching that east-west pod traffic actually consumes. Quoted alongside the nodes, not after them.
What we are not selling you
We do not operate your clusters, run a managed Kubernetes service, or provide platform engineering. There is no Uniqcli control plane, no hosted registry and no on-call rotation behind any of this. We source and integrate the technology; the platform, the tenancy and the day-to-day operation stay with you or with the provider you have chosen.
We also do not claim that a subscription or a node makes anything compliant. Container platforms sit inside a boundary your program defines and documents; the hardware and the entitlement are purchasable, the posture is not.
What we do supply is specific and boring in the right way: the entitlement through authorized US distribution, the nodes and storage sized against the workload, racking and burn-in to your elevation, and country-of-origin and §889 screening on every line.

Which distribution do you recommend?
That depends on your team's operating experience and your existing agreements far more than on our catalog. Red Hat and SUSE are the two vendors with verified inventory here; we quote either through authorized US distribution and let the platform decision stay with your engineers.
How is the subscription counted?
By node, core or socket depending on the vendor program and the edition. Tell us which program you hold and the cluster shape you intend, and the count goes on the quote as an explicit assumption rather than a rounded guess.
Can you quote just the hardware?
Yes. Many teams hold the platform subscription under an existing agreement and only need worker nodes, storage and fabric. We will quote any part of the stack on its own, racked and burned in if you want it that way.
