Contact Center Hardware

Agent hardware is bought by the hundred and replaced by the dozen. We standardize the headset and the desk endpoint, hold the specification so a replacement matches what the agent had, and keep spares flowing against real attrition rather than an annual guess.

Overview

The purchase is the easy part; the replacement cycle is the job

A contact center buys hardware twice: once at scale, and then continuously for the next five years. Headsets are worn eight hours a day and fail in predictable numbers. Agents leave and arrive. Positions get added on a Monday. What makes that manageable is a specification that does not drift — one headset model per role, one desk build, one display arrangement — so a replacement is a stock pull rather than a fresh evaluation, and so training and support do not fork across four variants nobody chose deliberately.

How it runs

Standardize once, then keep it fed

  • Agree the position build — headset, endpoint, displays, mounting, cabling
  • We hold the specification so a repeat order matches what the floor already has
  • Spares pool sized against your actual attrition rate rather than a percentage guess
  • Replacement orders quoted against the held spec, not re-evaluated each time
  • Deliveries staged by floor or team where a rollout runs in phases
  • GPC / P-Card accepted up to your cardholder threshold; purchase orders otherwise
Limits

What stays yours to run

We supply hardware. We do not operate a contact center, provide agents, host or resell a contact-center platform, or run the routing, recording, workforce management or analytics that sit on top of it. Those platforms are subscription relationships between you and their vendors, and the operation is yours.

Because of that, our advice stops at the endpoint. Whether a headset suits a particular acoustic environment, whether agents prefer mono or dual-ear, and how a wireless fleet is charged and stored are questions best answered by a pilot on your own floor. We are happy to quote a small evaluation batch before the estate order — it is cheaper than standardizing on the wrong model for five years.

Questions

Agent hardware questions

Can you hold our specification between orders?

Yes, and it is the main reason to buy this way. Once the position build is agreed we quote repeat orders against the held specification, so a replacement matches what the floor already runs rather than becoming a fresh evaluation each time a headset fails.

How many spares should we carry?

It depends on headcount, shift pattern and your actual failure rate, which is usually visible in your own replacement history. We size the pool against that rather than a generic percentage, and revisit it once there is a year of real data.

Do you provide the contact-center platform?

No. We source and integrate hardware; the routing, recording, workforce and analytics platforms are subscription relationships between you and their vendors, and the operation of the center is yours. Software licensing generally is quotable through authorized US distribution, but we will not imply a platform practice we do not run.
