DISPLAYPORT CAPABILITIES FOR 4K VIDEO
The Vertiv Avocent LV5500 KVM extender’s additional Local Pass Through feature the Local console output to duplicate incoming video and audio. Now with the latest fiber option, the LV5000 allows for a much greater extension distance while still providing ultra-high-resolution (UHD 3840x2160) video up to 4K @ 60Hz to multiple projectors using edge blending.
SIMPLE, SECURE REMOTE KVM CONTROL
The Vertiv Avocent LV5000 KVM extender enables the placement of critical computing hardware in a secure and climate-controlled environment, while maintaining the same user experience in workstations up to 330 ft. away. The additional Local Pass Through feature of the LV5500 is allows the Local console output to duplicate incoming video and audio. This declutters workspaces and better secures computing assets housing your critical data.
IMPROVED THERMAL MANAGEMENT
With the Vertiv Avocent LV5000 KVM extender, heat-generating computing equipment can be placed away from employee workplaces, eliminating the need to over-cool those environments. USB 2.0 COMPATIBILITY

Single head Avocent LV5500 Extenders allows up to two users, local and remote, simultaneous access to the same machine.
USB 2.0 COMPATIBILITY
