The Vertiv Avocent HMX6150T-DP Transmitter is a high performance KVM extender that provides access to system computers via a CATx network, allowing users the ability to access and share computing resources. The system enables you to locate critical computing hardware in a secure, temperature-controlled environment, away from the user workstation to maintain component integrity. This small form factor transmitter (0U rack space) is ideal for demanding applications such as broadcast, control rooms, and collaborative environments. Its IP-based KVM technology removes any distance limitations, allowing the extension of computers away from the user environment. It provides access to DP video resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 @60Hz. The Vertiv Avocent HMX 6150T provides improved access to both physical and virtual platforms, giving the customer one seamless interface. Offering DisplayPort (DP) video and HDMI support gives Vertiv greater flexibility in physical and virtual availability.
BROADCAST AND VIDEO PRODUCTION
These KVM systems facilitate the creating and editing high-quality broadcast and professional video productions by providing uncompromised video quality or control. The Vertiv Avocent HMX High Performance KVMs offer one or two DVI video connections in resolutions of 1920x2000 or 2560x1600. They can support a variety of single-link and dual-link video resolutions, convert video to analog and scale in single port increments by simply adding a transmitter or receiver.
