Overview
Tripp Lite's U339-002, USB 3.0 to SATA Dual Hard Drive Docking / Cloning Station, allows two SATA 2.5in or 3.5in hard drives (HDD) or solid state drives (SSD) to be connected simultaneously to a computer through USB. Supports 3.5" drives up to 4TB. Off-line cloning allows hard drive duplication without being connected to a computer.
Utilizing SuperSpeed USB 3.0, this docking station provides data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps, but is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 systems (data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps). More from the Manufacturer
Offline and Online Cloning Capability
No host computer is needed to clone hard drives with the U339-002. The offline cloning functionality allows hard drive duplication at the touch of a button. An LED progress bar displays cloning status updates.
USB 3.0-Compliant
The U339-002 is USB 3.0-compliant with transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps and backward compatible with previous USB versions.

The U339-002 is plug-and-play ready. With no drivers or software to install, simply plug it in, connect the included USB cable to your PC or Mac, and insert the SATA drives you want to use. You can read and write to both drives at the same time. The U339-002’s docking function works with Windows, Linux and Mac OS X operating systems.
