The PR5000RTXL2UC is a Smart App Sinewave rack/tower convertible UPS with line-interactive topology, surge protection, and battery backup. CyberPower's Smart App Sinewave series creates a sine wave output devoid of power gaps which could cause unexpected shutdowns of sensitive equipment.
The Smart App Sinewave PR5000RTXL2UC improves battery life through battery equalization technology and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which corrects minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power. The enhanced chassis design with an easy-to-access toolless front panel, captive screws for battery panel access, and color-coded rear panel make battery changes and installations simple and fast. The PR5000RTXL2UC also has an innovative LCD panel that rotates 90°, tilts for a better viewing angle, and provides information on 47 different settings including UPS stats, UPS setup and control management, and testing options.
This model accepts one BP48VP2U04 Extended Battery Module (EBM) for expanded runtime during power outages and includes RMCARD205 network management card for remote management and control via a standard web browser or network management system. Includes built-in cloud monitoring.

Why Do You Need a UPS System?

How long will the UPS power my systems after the power goes out?
This system is estimated to run for 8.3 minutes at half load, 1.7 minutes for a full load. The LCD screen provides an estimated run time based on the required power usage during blackouts.
Can the battery capacity be expanded?
Yes, the PR5000RTXL2UC accepts the BP48VP2U04 extended battery module to help increase the runtime of the UPS unit.
Can the UPS be monitored?
Yes, the PR5000RTXL2UC comes with built-in cloud monitoring capabilities. It can also be paired PowerPanel Business (free download) that provides a user-friendly dashboard interface for controlling and monitoring the UPS.
Can this unit run a sump pump, laser printer, or other larger office equipment?
We do not recommend using the PR5000RTXL2UC to power sump pumps, laser printers, paper shredders, copiers, space heaters or other large electrical devices. The power demands of these devices may overload the unit and cause damage.
How do I mute the alarms?
The audible alarm can be set to Mute on Battery. This is accomplished by going to the basic setup via the LCD Screen, navigating to the audible alarm, and then set to Mute on Battery.
