Designed for evolving network environments, this converter seamlessly connects 10/100/1000BASE-T copper devices to 100BASE-FX or 1000BASE-X fiber by simply selecting the SFP transceiver that best fits your application.
Unlike fixed-fiber media converters, the open SFP slot lets you choose multimode or single-mode fiber, connector types, wavelengths, and transmission distances to match changing network requirements. This flexibility reduces inventory, simplifies upgrades, and protects your investment as network infrastructure evolves.
Auto-negotiating copper ports automatically detect 10-, 100-, or 1000-Mbps Ethernet speeds, while support for both Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet fiber enables seamless integration into mixed-speed environments. Store-and-forward switching helps ensure reliable data transmission, and link fault detection simplifies troubleshooting by quickly identifying connection issues.
