Compatibility Notes:

- The Thunderbolt 3 has the same design as the USB-C port. Thunderbolt 3 has the capabilities of USB-C, but USB-C does not have the capabilities of Thunderbolt 3

- The Docking's Thunderbolt 3 output does not work when connecting to a non-Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port

- The USB Type-C connector with DisplayPort technology via an Alternative Mode (Alt Mode) and allows a USB-C equipped computer and cable to connect directly to a display/monitor
