The Plugable UD-ULTCDL Triple Display Docking Station is designed for professionals and multitaskers who need a reliable, high-performance docking solution. Originally launched on Kickstarter in 2016 as the first triple-display USB-C dock, it's been refined to meet modern connectivity and power demands.
With three HDMI ports, this PC docking station makes it easy to connect multiple monitors without adapters. DisplayLink technology allows triple extended displays, even on Macs like M1, M2, and M3 models that don't natively support multiple monitors. The first HDMI port uses DP Alt Mode for native video output, while the second and third ports use DisplayLink to support smooth multitasking.
The Plugable docking station powers laptops with up to 100W Power Delivery (96W certified). It also features four 5Gbps USB-A ports, one 5Gbps USB-C port offering 20W charging for smaller devices, a Gigabit Ethernet port, an SD card reader, and dual 3.5mm audio jacks. The vertical design saves desk space, while a weighted base ensures stability for a clutter-free setup.
To take full advantage of the display docking station features, your computer must have a USB-C port supporting DP Alt Mode and USB-C Power Delivery. For macOS, installing the DisplayLink Manager App is required. No information is being recorded.
