The PR1000RT2UCN is a Smart App Sinewave rack/tower convertible UPS with line-interactive topology, surge protection, and battery backup. CyberPower's Smart App Sinewave series has sine wave output to eliminate power gaps that can be detected by sensitive equipment and cause unexpected shutdowns.
The Smart App Sinewave PR1000RT2UCN improves battery life through battery equalization technology and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which corrects minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power. The enhanced chassis design with an easy-to-access toolless front panel, captive screws for battery panel access, and color-coded rear panel make battery changes and installations simple and fast. The PR1000RT2UCN also has an innovative LCD panel that rotates 90°, tilts for a better viewing angle, and provides information on 47 different settings including UPS stats, UPS setup and control management, and testing options. This model includes pre-installed remote management card RMCARD205, which provides remote management and configuration of the UPS via a standard web browser or network management system, and built-in cloud monitoring.

Remotely troubleshoot UPS system power issues on networks with limited bandwidth. Use your phone or use the web-based app for real-time UPS system notifications via email and app alerts. UPS groups within an account can be monitored by segment, client, or individual location.
How long will the UPS power my systems after the power goes out?
This system is estimated to run for 19.5 minutes at half load, 7 minutes for a full load. The LCD screen provides an estimated run time based on the required power usage during blackouts.
Can the battery capacity be expanded?
No, the PR1000RT2UCN does not support an extended battery module.
Can the PR1000RT2UCN be monitored?
Yes, the PR1000RT2UCN comes with built-in cloud monitoring capabilities. It can also be paired PowerPanel Business (free download) that provides a user-friendly dashboard interface for controlling and monitoring the UPS.
Can this unit run a sump pump, laser printer, or other larger office equipment?
We do not recommend using the PR1000RT2UCN to power sump pumps, laser printers, paper shredders, copiers, space heaters or other large electrical devices. The power demands of these devices may overload the unit and cause damage.
How do I mute the alarms?
The audible alarm can be set to Mute on Battery. This is accomplished by going to the basic set up via the LCD Screen, navigate to audible alarm and then set to Mute on Battery.
