Tripp Lite's U360-007 USB 3.0 Charging Hub plugs into a computer's USB 3.0 port and provides seven USB 3.0 Super-Speed peripheral ports, and one charging port for charging tablets such as an iPad. Dedicated charging port supplies the extra amperage needed to charge tablets, which most USB hubs do not include. Plug-and-Play... no software or drivers required. Automatically switches to the highest speed supported by the peripheral. Windows (compatible with Windows 8) and Mac compatible. Use only the external power supply that comes with your hub. Beginning in the fall of 2015, a 12V 2A power supply will be included with the U360-007, whereas previous units included a 5V 4A power supply. The power spec printed under the DC jack on your hub will match the spec of the included power supply.

Optimizes Power Efficiency
USB 3.0 SuperSpeed uses 1/3 of the power of USB 2.0 to transfer the same amount of data. Conversely, during charging applications, the U360-007 delivers twice the power of USB 2.0 for faster device charging. The U360-007 has lower active and idle power requirements, and does not require device polling.
Dedicated High-Output USB Charging Port for Fast Charging
The U360-007 features a 5V, 2A USB charging port that delivers enough power to provide a fast charge to your power-hungry devices, including iPad, iPad Mini and Android tablets. The other USB 3.0 ports support up to 900mA per port.
Faster Data Transfer Rates & Provides Overcurrent Protection
USB 3.0 ports support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, which 10x faster than USB 2.0. For older devices, the U360-007 is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 standards. The U360-007 works with all Windows (compatible with Windows 10) and Mac OS computers equipped with a USB 3.0 port.
To safeguard your connected devices against damage or data loss due to overvoltages, the U360-007 features per-port overcurrent protection.
Plug-and-Play Convenience with a Compact, Portable Design
The U360-007 provides plug-and-play convenience, with no special software or complicated setup procedures required. Use the included external power supply to power the hub. An active indicator LED lets you know at a glance when the hub is providing power to connected devices.
