Eaton Tripp Lite Series 7-Port USB 3.x (5Gbps) Hub with 1.5A Charging

Tripp Lite's U360-007 USB 3.0 Charging Hub plugs into a computer's USB 3.0 port and provides seven USB 3.0 Super-Speed peripheral ports, and one charging port for charging tablets such as an iPad. Dedicated charging port supplies the extra amperage needed to charge tablets, which most USB hubs do not include. Plug-and-Play... no software or drivers required. Automatically switches to the highest speed supported by the peripheral. Windows (compatible with Windows 8) and Mac compatible. Use only the external power supply that comes with your hub. Beginning in the fall of 2015, a 12V 2A power supply will be included with the U360-007, whereas previous units included a 5V 4A power supply. The power spec printed under the DC jack on your hub will match the spec of the included power supply.

Conversely, during charging applications, the U360-007 delivers twice the power of USB 2.0 for faster device charging. The U360-007 has lower active and idle power requirements, and does not require device polling.

The U360-007 features a 5V, 2A USB charging port that delivers enough power to provide a fast charge to your power-hungry devices, including iPad, iPad Mini and Android tablets. The other USB 3.0 ports support up to 900mA per port.

USB 3.0 ports support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, which 10x faster than USB 2.0. For older devices, the U360-007 is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 standards. The U360-007 works with all Windows (compatible with Windows 10) and Mac OS computers equipped with a USB 3.0 port.
