The SMART1500SLT SmartPro 120V 1.5kVA 900W Line-Interactive Sine Wave UPS provides battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, power surges and line noise that can damage electronics or destroy data. Ideal for backing up VoIP systems, point-of-sale applications and network closets, the SMART1500SLT switches to battery mode in milliseconds to keep your connected equipment running long enough to save files and shut down safely with no data loss.

Featuring eight NEMA 5-15R outlets and a six-foot power cord with NEMA 5-15P input, the SMART1500SLT has an internal battery that provides 20 minutes of support at half load and eight minutes at full load. Front-panel LEDs indicate line power, battery power, overload, voltage regulation and battery status. An alarm sounds to indicate power failure and overload conditions.

Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) maintains selectable 100V, 110V or 120V nominal output over an input range of 95V to 145V without using battery power. EMI/RFI noise filtering improves your equipment's performance and prevents damage. A 690-joule surge suppression rating protects your equipment from harmful power surges. Protect Equipment with Active PFC Power Supplies: Active PFC power supplies found in many devices require pure sine wave power.

Pure Sine Wave Output

When operating from battery power, a UPS system generates the waveform of its AC output. Many UPS systems generate PWM sine wave power, an approximation of the pure sine wave power you receive from your electrical utility. Although PWM sine wave power is compatible with most equipment, pure sine wave power is required by some devices -- such as computers with active PFC power supplies -- and prevents others from overheating, malfunctioning or failing prematurely. This UPS system generates pure sine wave power for superior compatibility with active PFC power supplies and other sensitive equipment.
