This 5P G2 line-interactive UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection for servers, switches and other mission-critical IT equipment in edge computing environments, server rooms and network closets. The 5P3000RTG2 protects more connected devices by providing 20 percent more wattage compared to traditional UPS systems. Pure sine wave output provides stable, high-quality power, while unity power factor (1.0) ensures maximum usable watts at each power rating.
Reliable Battery Backup with Enhanced Management
Exclusive ABM technology increases battery life by 50 percent by optimizing the charging process. It also closely monitors battery health to provide advanced notice when batteries need replacing.
Optional Gigabit Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote Access
The NETWORK-M3 cybersecure network management card (sold separately) enables full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, reboots of connected equipment and safe shutdowns. UPS firmware can also be flashed remotely through the NETWORK-M3 without dropping the load, so you don't have to plan for downtime. The card meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards for cybersecurity, which were developed to address the vulnerability of connected devices to known malware/exploits and to protect businesses from these risks.
NEMA Outlets Protect Your Connected Components
One L5-30R and six 5-15/20R outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor power consumption down to the outlet group level. Four 5-15/20R outlets are grouped into two load banks that let you shed non-critical loads to extend runtime for critical loads.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Corrects Low- and High-Voltage Conditions
AVR protects your equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems caused by brownouts and overvoltages. The 5P3000RTG2 can correct brownouts as low as 89V and overvoltages as high as 151V back to nominal 120V power continuously, all while keeping the battery fully charged and ready to take over in case of power failure.
LCD Interface Keeps You Informed at a Glance
The five-button graphical LCD provides useful information about the UPS itself, load status, events, measurements and settings. To save energy, the LCD switches to the screen saver after five minutes of inactivity. The multi-color LED status bar stays illuminated so you can always check power status at a glance.
Advanced Communications Ports Allow for Automatic Saves and Shutdowns
RS-232 and USB ports connect to a serial-enabled or USB-enabled device for a variety of communication options (cables are included). The RPO/ROO connector permits emergency shutdown or remote restart of all connected equipment.
Easy Installation Options
You can mount the 5P3000RTG2 in just 2U of space in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack using the included 4-post rail kit. You can also install the UPS in a tower format with the included support stands. The 10-foot (3-meter) power cord with NEMA L5-30P plug connects to a compatible AC outlet.
