Overview

TRENDnet's Industrial Modbus Gateway, model TI-M42, provides four port serial connections, and two fast Ethernet ports at distances up to 100m (328 ft.) using Cat5e cabling. This industrial gateway allows users to connect four modbus serial devices to a network.

• DEVICE INTERFACE: 4 x Serial (DB-9) ports; 2 x 10/100Mbps (RJ-45) ports; 4-pin removable terminal blocks; LED indicators; DIN-Rail mount; Wall mount; Grounding point

• CONNECT FOUR SERIAL DEVICES: The 4-Port Industrial Modbus Gateway supports RS-232, RS-422 and 2-wire RS-485, and allows you to connect four serial devices to a network.

• MANAGEMENT CONFIGURATION: Web / Telnet / Windows -based management

• IP30 RATED HOUSING: Hardened components for the Modbus Gateway are rated for extreme temperatures - 40° - 75° C (-40° - 167° F)

• DATA TRANSFER RATE: The modbus gateway has a serial port baud rate from 50 bps to 921.6 Kbps

• Supports DHCP, automatically obtain an IP address and query IP address through serial setting protocol

• NDAA / TAA compliant (U.S. and Canada only)
