Tripp Lite's B070-008-19 KVM Switch gives you a rack-mountable full keyboard, LCD and touchpad in a single console that occupies only 1U of rack space. Easy to install and use, it's the optimal solution for controlling up to 8 computers/servers.

The B070-008-19 uses inexpensive, user-supplied Cat5e/6/6a and a Server Interface Unit so you can control computers/servers located up to 100 ft. away from the switch. You can switch easily between the 8 ports using an on-screen display (OSD) or keyboard hot key commands. Multi-level password protection prohibits unauthorized users from accessing the connected computers. The built-in 19" LCD screen supports video resolutions up to 1366 x 768.

Add a Tripp Lite B051-000 IP Remote Access Unit and you'll be able to connect to your servers from anywhere in the world. The B070-008-19 stores neatly in a rack drawer and pulls out when needed. Broad Compatability, Upgradable Remote Management & Control Up to 256 Computers

Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated. Connect multiple versions of multiple platforms in any combination, including Windows, Mac, UNIX1, Linux and DOS. The B070-016-19 supports both PS/2 and USB connections using B078-101-Series USB or PS/2 server interface units and inexpensive, readily available Cat5e/6 cabling (Tripp Lite’s N001- and N002-Series for Cat5e cable; N201- and N125-Series for Cat6). Connected computers/servers can be located up to 100 ft. from the switch. The built-in LCD supports video resolutions up to 1366 x 768.

You can upgrade the B070-016-19 for IP access with a Tripp Lite B051-000 IP Remote Unit. Adding the remote unit allows computers/servers to be controlled from any location via LAN, WAN or the Internet. IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots and more to be accomplished from any location using a standard Web browser or multi-platform client software.

The B070-016-19 can be expanded to control more computers/servers using any combination of Tripp Lite’s B072-008-1 and B072-016-1 KVM switches. Control up to 256 computers/servers when all 16 ports have a Tripp Lite B072-016-1 cascaded from them. This gives network managers the flexibility to add capacity when it’s needed, accommodating growing data center requirements without disrupting existing equipment.
