This NetDirector® rack-mount KVM switch lets you access, control, boot and reboot up to 16 computers or servers at the same time. All 16 devices share one built-in 19-inch LCD, touchpad, mouse, 105-key French keyboard and IP remote access, allowing you to control the devices from the next room, next door or another continent.

Connect up to 264 Computers to One Original Console

You can also cascade up to 31 B020-U16-19-IPF KVM switches, allowing centralized access to as many as 264 computers using a single monitor, French keyboard and mouse.

Access Servers from Anywhere in the World

Built-in IP access allows you to control computers via LAN, WAN or the Ethernet. Just log on to a web browser using the Windows or Java-based browser client and navigate the user-friendly interface in English, Spanish, French, German or Italian. You can also access the KVM switch without a browser. IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots and other functions necessary for managing a high-density data center.

Switching Between Computers Is Fast and Easy

Use the front-panel push buttons, hotkey commands or multi-lingual On-Screen Display (OSD) with text-based interface for quick and easy toggling between computers. You can use Auto Scan mode to scan all connected computers in five-second intervals automatically. Orange LEDs indicate which computer is currently selected.

Cables Are Included for Fast and Simple Setup

The B020-U16-19-IPF supports both PS/2 and USB connections using a P778-Series combo cable kit. One kit is required for each connected computer. Two kits come included with the B020-U16-19-IPF. Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated. Connect multiple versions of multiple platforms in any combination, including Windows and Linux operating systems. The firmware is upgradable using the included cable to ensure software remains up to date.

USB Port Lets You Share Peripherals between Computers

The built-in USB port allows you to share a USB-A peripheral, such as a flash drive or card reader, between all connected computers.

Transmits High-Definition Video

The B020-U16-19-IPF supports video resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 (at 75 Hz) at the built-in 19-inch monitor and up to 1600 x 1200 (at 60 Hz) at the remote console.

Built-In Security Keeps Your Data Safe

The B020-U16-19-IPF supports RADIUS and LDAP/S remote authentication. Advanced encryption technologies, such as 512-bit RSA, 256-bit AES, 56-bit DES, 168-bit 3DES, 128-bit RC4 and 128-bit SSL, keep your important data secure. The B020-U16-19-IPF lets you create up to 64 user accounts with 3 levels of password protection (Admin, User and Select) to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to connected servers. IP remote access is further protected with security features, including filtering that only allows designated IP and MAC addresses access to the KVM switch.

Designed for Convenient Mounting with Included Hardware

The heavy-duty steel housing comes with mounting hardware for 1U installation in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack from 26 to 38 inches deep. The LCD folds down when not in use, and the console locks into place to prevent sliding out of the rack. The detachable six-foot C13-to-C14 power cord connects the KVM switch to an AC power source.
