Reliable 750VA/450W Battery Backup with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)

UPS battery backup support enables you to work through short power failures, and allows time to save files and perform an orderly system shutdown in case of a prolonged blackout. The AVRX750U’s internal battery provides 10 min. of battery support for a half load (225 watts) and 3 min. for a full load (450 watts). During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the UPS battery fully charged so that backup power will always be available if needed.

AVR protects your equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems that can be caused by low-voltage conditions, commonly known as brownouts. The AVRX750U can correct brownouts as low as 159V and overvoltages as high as 282V back to 230V without drawing on battery backup power that may be needed to support your equipment during a blackout.

Robust AC and Dataline Surge Suppression and EMI/RFI Line Noise Filtering

A sudden power surge or spike can damage or destroy electronic components and wipe out irreplaceable data. The AVRX750U’s 320-joule surge suppression rating protects all connected components and the data they contain. The AVRX750U includes one set of tel/DSL (RJ11) jacks to protect a standard dialup/DSL phone connection from dataline surges (user supplies RJ11 phone cable).

Various electrical and radio sources can cause disruptive interference on the AC line. This line noise is a common cause of incremental hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video performance problems. The AVRX750U incorporates technology that filters out electromagnetic and radio frequency interference so that it won’t affect your equipment.

USB Port and Free PowerAlert Software

The AVRX750U features a HID-compliant USB port (USB cable included). When used with Tripp Lite’s free PowerAlert software (available for download at www.tripplite.com) this USB port enables safe unattended system shutdown and file saves in the event of a prolonged power failure. The USB port also enables integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X.
