A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower Intelligent LCD CP1000AVRLCD provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. The CP1000AVRLCD uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life. How long will the UPS power my systems after the power goes out?
Run times vary based on the power required by connected devices. This system is estimated to run for 12 minutes at half load, 2 minutes for a full load. The LCD screen provides an estimated run time based on the required power usage during blackouts.
Can this UPS model be monitored?
Yes, the BRG1500AVRLCD2 comes with a free download of PowerPanel Personal that provides a user-friendly dashboard interface for controlling and monitoring the UPS.
Do all of the outlets have battery backup power and surge protection?
No, not all of the outlets have battery backup power. The BRG1500AVRLCD2 has six battery backup and surge protected outlets and six surge protected only outlets.
Can this unit run a sump pump, laser printer, or other larger office equipment?
We do not recommend using the BRG1500AVRLCD2 to power sump pumps, laser printers, paper shredders, space heaters or other large electrical devices. The power demands of these devices may overload the unit and cause damage.
How do I mute the alarms?
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn Mute on. The UPS will beep twice and the MUTE icon will appear on the LCD to indicate that the UPS alarm has been disabled.
