6U Rack Flight Case Lets You Safely Transport Rack-Mount Equipment

This SmartRack® 6U ABS flight case houses EIA-standard 19-inch rack equipment while it's being moved from one location to another. Constructed from heavy-duty ABS, the SRCASE6U features four stationary mounting rails that support up to 6U of servers, switches, patch panels, UPS systems and other rack components up to 20.5 inches deep. Maximum load capacity is 100 pounds. The case is ideal for transporting sensitive rack equipment to trade shows or other facilities without fear of damage.

Protects Sensitive Devices against Moisture, Debris, Bumps and Jolts

This 6U road case comes fully assembled with a built-in handle on each side for convenient transportation. Once the device is mounted inside using the included hardware, both the front and rear covers with rubber gaskets are latched securely to keep out moisture, dust and other hazardous elements. A zippered pouch inside one cover stores extra hardware or other accessories. The SRCASE6U stacks securely with other identical cases.

Easy Equipment Mounting with Built-In Rails

The interior of the SRCASE6U is equipped with four built-in mounting rails. Equipment mounts as it would in a standard IT rack, providing excellent stability during travel. These rails are easily accessible via the case’s front and rear removable covers.

The SRCASE6U supports up to 6U of EIA-standard 19-inch equipment with a maximum depth of 20.5 inches. Its load capacity is 100 lb. Included mounting hardware simplifies placement of equipment, and a zippered pouch in one cover stores cables and accessories without taking up extra space.

Rugged Construction Provides Secure, Worry-Free Transport

This case is designed to travel. Its impact-resistant ABS plastic exterior protects equipment from weather and physical hazards, and its heavy-duty latches secure its covers to provide tight closure. A rubber gasket in each cover helps seal out moisture, dust and other contaminants.
