The durable nickel-plated brass housing resists scratching and is fully shielded for reliable, error-free signal quality and protection from EMI/RFI line noise that can distort or destroy data. This coupler is UL-listed and meets all requirements for EIA/TIA Cat6 compliance. It's also backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 LANs.
