Overview
Detect Water Leaks Across Large Areas
The AlertWerks Rope Water Sensor helps protect critical equipment and facilities by detecting water leaks and flooding across a wide coverage area. Ideal for data centers, equipment rooms, basements, raised floors, and around plumbing infrastructure, it provides early warning of moisture issues before they can cause costly damage or downtime.
Unlike point sensors that monitor a single location, the rope design detects water anywhere along the sensing cable, providing broader coverage and improved protection. Real-time alerts enable faster response to leaks, helping reduce risk to equipment and operations.
Powered directly by a compatible AlertWerks Gateway, the sensor requires no external power source. The sensor includes a 10-foot non-sensing extension cable and a 10-foot sensing rope, with optional extension sections available to expand monitoring coverage as needed.
To help ensure events are properly investigated, leak conditions remain active until acknowledged through the monitoring interface or SNMP management system.
