Monitor Critical Airflow Conditions
The AlertWerks Airflow Sensor helps ensure proper airflow in data centers, network closets, server cabinets, and other critical environments. By detecting the presence or absence of airflow, it enables organizations to identify cooling issues quickly and respond before overheating impacts equipment performance or uptime.
The sensor provides a simple on/off airflow status signal and is compatible AlertWerks monitoring systems. Automatic sensor detection simplifies deployment, allowing the monitoring platform to recognize and configure the sensor without manual setup.
Powered directly by the AlertWerks gateway, the sensor requires no external power source, reducing installation complexity and cabling requirements. For flexible deployment, the sensor can be installed up to 60 feet (18.3 meters) from the gateway or expansion hub using standard CAT5e cabling.
