PDUMNH15 Monitored 1U Rackmount PDU supports 15A peak capacity at 120V (agency de-rated to 12 amps continuous). Includes attached 5-15P input cordset and 8 5-15R outlets. Visual and remote current monitoring tracks real time output current level. Supports 1U horizontal rackmount installation with included mounting brackets. Monitored PDU systems support real-time remote monitoring via secure web, SNMP or Telnet interface and custom notification of user-specified remote conditions via email and SNMP trap. PDU power consumption in amps is displayed locally via front panel lighted digital display and can be monitored remotely to warn of potential overloads before critical IT mains breakers become overloaded. Advanced configurations support in-rack environmental monitoring with optional ENVIROSENSE temperature / humidity probe and rack access notification for up to 4 SRSWITCH or user supplied contact-closure sensors.

1.4kW Single-Phase Monitored PDU with LX Platform Interface

Tripp Lite’s PDUMNH15 distributes and monitors single-phase 120V power to connected rack equipment in data centers, network closets, server rooms, computer rooms and other applications requiring network-grade power. Its built-in network interface allows real-time remote monitoring of voltage, frequency and load levels to prevent overloads that cause expensive downtime. It features eight NEMA 5-15R outlets and a 12-foot power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug, which connects the PDU to a compatible AC power source, generator or protected UPS system.

Built-In LX Platform Network Management Interface Card

The built-in Java-free HTML5-based LX Platform network interface enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Optional EnviroSense2 modules (sold separately) provide a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions. Protocols supported include IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration lets you assign network settings to the card automatically, reducing the need for manual configuration. Automated alerts help prevent accidental overloads, power loss and downtime.

Digital Load Meter

The easy-to-read two-character digital LED meter displays the total connected equipment load, so you can assure proper load balancing. By monitoring the total load in real time, you allow equipment to be safely connected with no danger of overloading the PDUMNH15 or power supply circuits.

The all-metal housing is designed to endure in busy, demanding IT and industrial environments. The NEMA 5-15P plug and included cord retention bracket for the outlets help prevent the PDU and its connected equipment from becoming accidentally disconnected. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date, even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered.

Versatile Installation Options

The PDUMNH15 mounts in 1U of space in EIA-standard 19-inch 2-post and 4-post racks using the included mounting brackets. You can install the PDU with outlets facing either the front or rear, whichever direction offers better airflow or equipment access. You can also use the mounting brackets to install the PDU on a wall, under a counter or vertically in 0U of rack space.
