The BHDBT-K-SI HDBaseT Class B(HDBaseT-Lite) Extender Kit allows you to transmit HDMI audio and video, RS-232 serial and IR Remote Control signals up to 230 feet(70 m) over a single Cat5e/6/6a cable, including a 1920 x 1080(1080p) signal @ 60 Hz. Or you can extend an Ultra High Definition(UHD) 3840 x 2160(4K x 2K) @ 24/30Hz video signal up to 130 feet(40 m). Add up to five Tripp Lite BHDBT-TR-SI transceivers(sold separately) between the transmitter and receiver units to further expand the range up to 780 feet(3840 x 2160 @ 24/30Hz) or 1,380 feet(1080p @ 60Hz) with a monitor connected via HDMI port to each transceiver.You can also control RS-232 serial devices, such as touchscreen displays or scanners, at baud rates up to 115 Kbps. The BHDBT-K-SI's 2-way IR Remote Control feature (@ 39 KHz) lets you control your Blu-ray player using its remote when at the remote monitor or control your remote monitor using its remote when at the Blu-ray player. Locking HDMI ports(ideal for use with Tripp Lite's High-Speed HDMI cables with locking connectors, such as P569-006-LOCK) on both the transmitter and receiver prevent cables from coming loose or undone, ensuring an intact signal.The BHDBT-K-SI supports 7.1-channel surround sound, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD audio, as well as 3D video, EDID and HDCP. Greater Distance & Transmits Serial Signals and IR Control

The BHDBT-K-SI extends a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) HDMI signal @ 60 Hz up to 230 feet or a UHD 4K 3840 x 2160 signal up to 130 feet (use Cat6a cable to achieve maximum distances). To expand and extend the reach of your installation, add up to five Tripp Lite BHDBT-TR-SI transceivers between the transmitter and receiver units. Each transceiver supports connection of an HDMI display and extends your transmission range up to 1,380 feet at 1080p resolution and up to 780 feet at 3840 x 2160 resolution. With the BHDBT-K-SI, you have the flexibility to house the source devices in a secure, remote location while still delivering the signals to devices in another area.

Serial signals and IR control signals travel over a single Cat5e/6/6a cable along with HDMI video. This eliminates cable clutter and reduces installation costs. The BHDBT-K-SI supports 115 Kbps full-duplex baud rates for scanners and touchscreen monitors. Two-way 39 KHz IR remote control functionality allows use of an HDMI source’s remote control in the same location as a monitor connected to the receiver. This gives you the ability to control your Blu-ray player with its remote while standing at the remote monitor (and vice versa).
