The 8199 IP PoE+ Surface Mount Speaker is a network audio device with satellite speaker technology to expand audio coverage at reduced costs. As a SIP-compliant, multicast-capable speaker with wideband audio, the 8199 provides high speech intelligibility and deployment flexibility to strengthen efforts toward critical safety, security, or emergency communication.
MOUNT TO SOLID SURFACES
The 8199 can be mounted to solid ceiling or wall surfaces made of concrete, brick, or wood to complement the 8198 IP PoE+ Ceiling Speaker that is designed for dropceiling installations. Though different in form factor, the 8199 maintains high-intelligibility audio, ambient noise detection, and all other Algo speaker features.
SCALE AT REDUCED COSTS
The Algo 8199 IP PoE+ Surface Mount Speaker can be deployed as a homerun IP speaker or in combination with up to three 1199 Satellite Surface Mount Speakers to minimize cabling, ports, and licensing costs. Automatically detect and continuously monitor each satellite speaker, ensuring reliable audio performance.
CONNECT TO VOIP AND UC SYSTEMS
As a SIP-compliant speaker, the 8199 can be integrated with UC platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and RingCentral as well as other VoIP technology. Configure these connections and other features such as RESTful API, ZTP, and multicast in an intuitive web interface from a remote location or on-site.
