The SRXCOOL12K SmartRack 12,000 BTU 230V Portable Server Rack Cooling System pumps 12,000 BTU of cooling power into your IT environment to prevent shutdowns, malfunctions and failures caused by overheating or fluctuating temperatures. Part of the SRCOOL® line, this compact, portable unit is perfect for server rooms and other IT environments with heat-sensitive equipment in areas that facility air conditioning can't reach.

The self-contained SRXCOOL12K is capable of cooling a small room using its louvered vent. A built-in evaporator expels the condensed water through the directional exhaust duct, eliminating the need for a drain tube, drain pan or water collection tank.

You can also use the included flexible tube to aim the cold air precisely where it's needed most, such as an overheated rack enclosure or an equipment hot spot. The SRXCOOL12K Portable Rack Air Conditioner also dehumidifies and filters the air, providing better air quality that can enhance equipment performance with little power consumption.

Designed for quick, simple installation, the SRXCOOL12K rolls on durable built-in casters and plugs into a standard Schuko CEE7 outlet. It's programmed to restart automatically after power failures, and you can set the built-in timer for unattended shutdown and startup.

By installing the optional SRCOOLNETLX remote management accessory (sold separately), you can also monitor temperatures, receive alerts, review logs and control settings from anywhere via SNMP, web browser, SSH or telnet.

The SRXCOOL12K is designed for portability and ease of use. Its compact size (less than 0.8 m in height) makes it a perfect cooling solution for wiring closets and similar space-critical locations. It can be configured with a standard louvered vent for general room cooling or a ducted vent to direct cold air into a rack or an area that needs it most. An included window/drop ceiling installation kit provides multiple installation options.

Easy-to-Use Controls

The SRXCOOL12K features a convenient, top-mounted control panel, including diagnostic LEDs and an LCD screen to display the temperature. The touch of a button allows users to power the unit on and off, control the mode of operation (Cool, Dehumidify or Fan), set the automatic timer, and lock settings to prevent an accidental interruption of operation.

Optional Remote Control Management and True Spot Cooling Capabilities

With an optional SRCOOLNET Web Management Accessory (sold separately) plugged into the side of the unit, the SRXCOOL12K can be managed and controlled from anywhere in the world via SNMP. The free PowerAlert® software download provides on/off cycling, fan speed adjustment, target set point temperature and dehumidification mode from a single interface. The SRCOOLNET also includes an ENVIROSENSE Temperature and Humidity Module that monitors ambient conditions and controls the temperature set point for true spot cooling in back offices, small server rooms and wiring closets.

The SRXCOOL12K's unique zero-maintenance design incorporates a built-in evaporator that expels condensate directly into the exhaust air stream. This eliminates the need for a floor drain, drain tube, drain pan or water collection tank—saving you time and money.

The SRXCOOL12K uses an ozone-friendly, energy-efficient R410a that is of low toxicity and non-flammable. R410a contains no ozone-depleting R22 refrigerant, which has been banned by the EU for new equipment after January 1, 2010 and illegal to service as of January 1, 2015.
