The AlertWerks Temperature Sensor String helps monitor temperature variations throughout a server cabinet, enabling early detection of hot spots that can affect equipment performance, reliability, and lifespan. Six strategically positioned temperature sensors provide comprehensive visibility into cabinet conditions, helping maintain optimal operating environments for critical IT equipment.
Comprehensive Cabinet Temperature Monitoring
By placing sensors at the top, middle, and bottom of both the front and rear of the cabinet, you can accurately monitor intake and exhaust temperatures as well as temperature differentials throughout the enclosure. This provides valuable insight into cooling efficiency and airflow performance.
Fast and Simple Installation
The sensor string comes prewired for quick deployment and includes both magnetic strips and double-sided VHB tape for flexible mounting options. Installation is simple and requires minimal setup time.
Maximize Sensor Port Availability
Despite providing six temperature measurement points, the sensor string uses only a single sensor port on a compatible AlertWerks ServSensor Plus Hub, leaving additional ports available for other monitoring requirements.
