Tripp Lite's N484-12M12 is a High Density 40Gb Pass-through Cassette, with (x12) 12-Fiber MTP/MPO connections. Designed specifically for use with Tripp Lite's N484-00U and N484-01U chassis'; up to 4 cassettes per N484-01U, or 1 per N484-00U. Each MTP/MPO connector is rated for up to 40GbE, with an extremely low insertion loss of 0.35db, well under the IEEE-802.3ae maximum channel loss spec of Guaranteed compatibility when used with recommended Tripp Lite cabling. Designed specifically for use with Tripp Lite cables, such as the N842- and N844-Series cables.

Tripp Lite’s High-Density 40Gb Pass-Through Fiber Cassette offers a simple, elegant solution for connecting devices with MTP/MPO ports. The N484-12M12 features 12 12-fiber MTP/MPO pass-through connections that are rated for 40Gb. This cassette is designed to fit Tripp Lite’s N484-00U Cassette Sleeve and N484-01U Enclosure Panel (sold separately). The cassette housing is heavy-duty steel for durability and long life.

Simplified Fiber Cable Installation Saves Time and Money

The N484-12M12 cassette is easy to install into a Tripp Lite N484-00U sleeve or N484-01U 1U enclosure panel. Insert the cassette and tighten its screw tabs to secure it to the sleeve or panel. Loosen the screw tabs for removal. No tools are required. Once the cassette is installed, you can connect your cables. One N484-12M12 cassette fits in the N484-00U and up to four cassettes fit in the N484-01U. The connectors are factory terminated to reduce time and labor during field installations.
