The Avocent ACS 800 Serial Console System delivers enterprise-class connectivity technologies to smaller spaces, ensuring out-of-band equipment access in the event of a network outage. Even when your network is down, the Avocent ACS 800 keeps you connected to the devices that are critical to your business.

SINGLE POINT-OF-ACCESS SECURITY

The Avocent ACS 800 is a secure interface for IT console access that complies with data center access and security policies and best practices, such as SSH access, IPsec VPN, customizable ACLs and FIPS 140-2. It is a single point of access for connected devices, and provides event logging and notifications to record user activity while on or off-line.

EASY INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING

The Avocent ACS 800 offers fast, automated configuration with automated discovery tools and zero-touch provisioning (ZTP). Auto-discovery eases identification of Vertiv and third-party devices, saving time at installation. ZTP automates installation steps at startup. Native command settings make monitoring and management of connected devices simple.

USB/ENVIRONMENTAL SENSOR PORTS

The Avocent ACS 800 includes four USB ports to support additional IT equipment and external devices. The console also features an environmental sensor port to connect temperature, humidity, differential pressure, leak, and door sensors. Up to eight sensors can be daisy chained. These sensors monitor and help control conditions that can impact the performance of your IT equipment.
