Tripp Lite by Eaton 45U 4-Post Open Frame Rack Cabinet Square Holes 3000lb Capacity

The SR45UBEXPND is 45U SmartRack enclosure with NO doors and NO side panels. The 'EXP' version is an expansion model used when several cabinets are bayed together. Its integrated baying tabs make it easy to combine multiple enclosures in rows for data center applications. This enclosure is also compatible with hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations.

The SR45UBEXPND houses 3000 lb of standard 19-inch rack equipment in 45U. Its front and rear pairs of vertical rails have square mounting holes that are adjustable in quarter-inch increments from 4 to 37 inches. Adjustment is quick and an easy-view depth index ensures consistent rail placement without requiring time-consuming measurements. Each rack space within the enclosure is numbered for ready reference.

Two of the adjustable vertical mounting rails support toolless button-mount 0U installation of up to four compatible PDUs and cable managers. This feature makes it easier to route cabling to rack equipment and reduces cord clutter.

All components of the SR45UBEXPND are grounded to the enclosure frame. Front and rear threaded grounding points are provided for connection to the facility earth ground.

To simplify deployment, the SR45UBEXPND comes with preinstalled casters that enable it to be easily maneuvered into the desired location, where it can be secured by adjusting the preinstalled levelers. Note: the casters are intended for minor position adjustments and are not designed for moving the enclosure over long distances.

The center-to-center width can be set at 600 mm (24 in.) to match standard data center floor tiles. The SR45UBEXPND offers guaranteed compatibility with all EIA-310-E compliant 19-in. equipment, and is also 100% compatible with today's state-of-the-art hot-aisle/cold-aisle data center configurations.

With 3U more height than Tripp Lite’s 42U enclosure cabinets, the SR45UBEXPND is optimized for high-density data center applications. Its massive front-to-rear ventilation capacity meets or exceeds server manufacturer requirements. The SR45UBEXPND offers full compatibility with a wide range of airflow optimization accessories as well as cable management accessories.

Toolless Vertical Mounting Rails Support 0U PDU and Cable Manager Installations

The SR45UBEXPND features two adjustable vertical mounting rails that support toolless button-mount 0U installation of compatible PDUs and cable managers. Each rail can accommodate two vertical PDUs or cable managers side by side, for a total of four units per enclosure cabinet. These vertical mounting rails make it easier to route power and cabling to installed rack equipment and are ideal for network switches that have side-to-side airflow and forward-facing ports.

Keeps Cables Organized

The top panel of the SR45UBEXPND is furnished with vents that help remove warm air from the enclosure cabinet and draw in cool air by convection. It also supports installation of standard user-supplied case fans. The top panel contains cable routing ports and is designed for quick, toolless removal with no need to disconnect cables. An open bottom facilitates cable access.

Convenient Grounding System

All components of the SR45UBEXPND are grounded to the enclosure cabinet frame. Front and rear threaded grounding points are provided for connection to the facility earth ground.

Preinstalled Casters and Leveling Feet ProvidePrecise Placement

To simplify deployment, the SR45UBEXPND comes with preinstalled casters and leveling feet. The casters allow the SR45UBEXPND to be easily maneuvered into the desired location, where it can then be secured in place by adjusting the leveling feet. The SR45UBEXPND has a rolling load capacity of 2250 lbs., enabling rack equipment to be installed in the enclosure cabinet prior to final deployment.
