Tripp Lite by Eaton 45U SmartRack Deep Rack Enclosure Cabinet with doors & side panels

The SR45UBDP is a DEEP version of our standard 45U SmartRack. This enclosure is 1295mm deep (51") compared to the standard 1070mm deep (42"). This extra depth allows for high density equipment installations. It allows extra space for moving the cable management back as well as providing space for mounted equipment that has hot-swap, removable power supplies out the back of the enclosure.

The SR45UBDP features a massive front-to rear-ventilation capacity that meets or exceeds server manufacturer requirements. Its integrated baying tabs make it easy to combine multiple enclosures in rows for data center applications. This enclosure is also compatible with hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations.

With its locking, reversible, removable front and rear doors, and locking, removable side panels, the SR45UBDP provides ultimate equipment safety. The side panels are half size for ease of removal and reinstallation. The split rear door design allows the enclosure to be placed closer to a wall. The SR45UBDP meets all requirements toward PCI DSS compliance.

The top panel of the SR45UBDP is vented to help remove warm air from the enclosure and draw in cool air by convection. The top panel includes ports for cable routing, and can be quickly removed without tools. To facilitate cable access, the SR45UBDP is open-bottom.

All components of the SR45UBDP are grounded to the enclosure frame. Front and rear threaded grounding points are provided for connection to the facility earth ground. The removable front and rear doors feature quick-release ground wires.

It houses 3000 lb of standard 19-inch rack equipment in 45U. To simplify deployment, the SR45UBDP comes with preinstalled casters that enable it to be easily maneuvered into the desired location, where it can be secured by adjusting the preinstalled levelers. Note: the casters are intended for minor position adjustments and are not designed for moving the enclosure over long distances.

With an extended 48-in. depth, the SR45UBDP provides the extra space needed for mounting cable management equipment to the back of the rack for improved airflow. The extra space also leaves ample room to service equipment containing removable hot-swap power supplies.

Secure Access for All Mission-CriticalEquipment

The SR45UBDP is designed to provide a safe, secure installation solution for mission-critical rackmount equipment. It contains locking, removable front and rear doors that are perforated to promote efficient airflow, and locking, removable side panels. Locking doors and side panels prevent unauthorized access to installed equipment. The side panels are half size (two per side) for ease of removal and reinstallation. The front door is reversible and the split rear door design reduces clearance requirements for service access so the enclosure cabinet can be placed closer to a wall.

Designed for Simple Equipment Installation

The SR45UBDP’s front and rear pairs of vertical rails with square mounting holes are adjustable in quarter-inch increments to accommodate equipment depths from 4 to 42 inches. Adjustment is quick and convenient—simply unscrew the rails, slide them to the desired depth and restore the screws. An easy-view depth index ensures consistent rail placement without requiring time-consuming measurements. The rails feature square mounting holes and are capable of supporting up to 3000 lbs. of equipment with included installation hardware. Each rack space within the enclosure cabinet is numbered for ready reference.

Toolless Vertical Mounting Rails Support 0UPDU and Cable Manager Installations

The SR45UBDP’s two adjustable vertical mounting rails support toolless button-mount 0U installation of compatible PDUs and cable managers. Each rail can accommodate two vertical PDUs or cable managers side by side, for a total of four units per enclosure cabinet. These vertical mounting rails make it easier to route power and cabling to installed rack equipment and are ideal for network switches that have side-to-side airflow and forward-facing ports.

Vented Top Panel with Cable Ports Promotes Efficient Airflow and Keeps Cables Organized

The top panel of the SR45UBDP is furnished with vents designed to help remove warm air from the enclosure cabinet and draw in cool air by convection. It also supports installation of standard user-supplied case fans. The top panel contains cable routing ports and is designed for quick, toolless removal with no need to disconnect cables. An open bottom facilitates cable access.

Preinstalled Casters and Leveling Feet Provide Precise Placement

To simplify deployment, the SR45UBDP comes with preinstalled casters and leveling feet. The casters allow the SR45UBDP to be easily maneuvered into the desired location, where it can then be secured in place by adjusting the leveling feet. The SR45UBDP has a rolling load capacity of 2250 lbs., enabling rack equipment to be installed in the enclosure cabinet prior to final deployment.
