The rails are adjustable in quarter-inch increments to accommodate equipment depths from 3 to 32.5 inches, ideal for standard server installation. Adjustment is quick and convenient: simply unscrew the rails, slide them to the desired depth and restore the screws. The rails feature square mounting holes and are capable of supporting up to 1,000 lbs of equipment with included installation hardware. Each rack space within the enclosure is numbered for easy reference.With a locking, reversible front door and locking, removable side panels, the SR24UB provides safe, secure installation for all equipment. This prevents unauthorized access to installed equipment while making it easy for authorized personnel to perform inspections, maintenance and equipment replacement. The enclosure meets all requirements toward PCI DSS compliance.The top and bottom panels of the SR24UB are furnished with vents designed to help remove warm air from the enclosure and draw in cool air by convection. They also support installation of standard user-supplied case fans(Tripp Lite SRFANWM). The top and bottom panels are also provided with ports for cable routing.To simplify deployment, the SR24UB comes with an accessory caster kit consisting of 4 casters and all required installation hardware. With the casters installed, the SR24UB can easily be maneuvered into the desired location, and then secured in place by adjusting the unit's levelers. At 3 ¾ feet tall, the SR24UB is optimized for data center and other IT applications were space is limited, including closets and branch/back offices. Its massive front-to-rear ventilation capacity meets or exceeds server manufacturer requirements. The SR24UB offers full compatibility with a wide range of airflow optimization and cable management accessories.

With a 33 inches depth, the SR24UB provides the space needed for mounting standard-size server equipment that is often too large for compact enclosure cabinets. The SR24UB’s standard 24 inches width is compatible with all 19 inches rack equipment. Its rails are adjustable in quarter-inch increments to accommodate equipment depths from 3 to 32.5 inches. Adjustment is quick and convenient—simply unscrew the rails, slide them to the desired depth and restore the screws. An easy-view depth index ensures consistent rail placement without requiring time-consuming measurements. The SR24UB is designed to provide a safe, secure installation solution for mission-critical rackmount equipment. The top panel of the SR24UB is furnished with vents designed to help remove warm air from the enclosure cabinet and draw in cool air by convection. It also supports installation of standard user-supplied case fans. The top and bottom panels contain cable routing ports designed for quick, toolless removal with no need to disconnect cables.

All components of the SR24UB are grounded to the enclosure cabinet frame. Front and rear threaded grounding points are provided for connection to the facility earth ground. The removable front and rear doors feature quick-release ground wires.

To simplify deployment, the SR24UB comes with casters and leveling feet. The casters allow the SR24UB to be easily maneuvered into the desired location, where it can then be secured in place by adjusting the leveling feet. The SR24UB has a 1000 pounds. rolling load capacity for rack equipment to be installed in the enclosure cabinet prior to final deployment. Note: the casters are intended for minor position adjustments within the final installation area only and are not designed for moving the enclosure cabinet over long distances.
