Individually switched outlets can be controlled in real-time to remotely reboot unresponsive network hardware, or be custom programmed for user-defined power-up and power-down sequences to ensure proper startup of interdependent IT systems and prevent inrush-related overloads as network equipment is first energized. Unused PDU outlets can be electronically locked off to prevent the connection of unauthorized hardware. PDU output current consumption in amps is displayed locally via visual meter and remotely via web/network interface to warn of potential overloads before critical IT mains or branch breakers trip. 2.3–2.8kW Single-Phase Switched PDU Distributes, Monitors and Manages Network-Grade Power

Tripp Lite's PDUMH15HVNET distributes, monitors and manages single-phase 200–240V power to connected rack equipment in data centers, network closets, server rooms, computer rooms and other applications requiring network-grade power. Its built-in network interface allows real-time remote monitoring of voltage, frequency and load levels to prevent overloads that cause expensive downtime. It features eight switched C13 outlets. A 6.5-foot power cord with C14 plug connects the PDU to a compatible AC power source, generator or protected UPS system.

Built-In LX Platform Network Management Interface Card

The Java-free HTML5-based LX Platform network interface enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Optional ENVIROSENSE modules (sold separately) provide a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities. Protocols supported include IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support offers the ability to have network settings automatically assigned to the card, reducing the need for manual configuration.

For a higher level of network power control, the eight C13 outlets can be individually controlled in real time. These controllable outlets enable power management tasks, including load shedding, load ramping, programming power-on and power-off sequences, and rebooting of locked-up network devices, to be performed remotely. By reducing the frequency of on-site visits, these advanced remote capabilities can save you money and reduce downtime. Unused outlets can be disabled to prevent the connection of unauthorized equipment loads. Each outlet has an LED that illuminates to confirm power on/off status.

The easy-to-read two-character LCD load meter displays the total connected equipment load, so you can assure proper load balancing. By monitoring the load in real time, you allow equipment to be safely connected with no danger of overloading the PDUMH15HVNET or power supply circuits.
