Tripp Lite's 100-meter multimode duplex Fibre Channel optic LC/LC patch cable is manufactured from 50/125 zipcord fiber. The cable has LC connectors on each end. It has a PVC jacket and is FDDI and OFNR rated. 50/125 Duplex multimode fiber is most commonly used in Fibre Channel applications. It is backward compatible with 62.5 micron fiber and provides built-in headroom for future applications. The cable provides higher bandwidth optimized for Gigabit and 10Gbps networks as well. Tripp Lite’s N492-WM2-BK securely houses and protects your fiber connections. The enclosure mounts to any wall or other solid surface and supports up to two fiber adapter panels, such as Tripp Lite’s N492-08D-LC, N492-06D-SC or N492-08S-ST (sold separately). The N492-WM2-BK has two locking doors. The larger door opens to the main compartment, providing secure access to managed input connections. Two keys are provided for the door’s built-in lock, keeping connections safe from unauthorized access and tampering. The smaller door provides access to the distribution side of the adapter panels. This door has a hasp for the addition of a user-supplied keyed or combination lock so that access to output connections can be provided to different personnel from the input cables. Cable manager rings and cable ties are included to help organize cables within the enclosure. A labeling sticker is also included to facilitate easy cable identification.
